How It Works

Work Within a Structured Development System

Your journey begins with an Initial Development Cycle.

From there, you continue within a structured, year-round ski development system designed to support long-term technical improvement.

Quick Overview

A Clear Starting Point

Everyone begins with an Initial Development Cycle.

  • 5–6 days of structured on-snow coaching

  • Delivered in Austria

  • Includes Foundation Membership

There is no long-term commitment required to start.

What You Commit To

Your Initial Development Cycle allows you to experience the coaching system before deciding how you wish to continue.

At the outset, you are committing to:

  • one structured training block

  • a defined coaching process

  • the opportunity to evaluate how the system works for you

What Happens After the Cycle

After your Initial Development Cycle, you continue within the club.

You may choose to:

  • remain at Foundation Membership (periodic coach check-in)

  • upgrade to Alignment or Integration Membership if you would benefit from additional coaching support

  • return for additional Development Cycles as your progression requires

There is no need to reapply after becoming a member.

What Stays Consistent

Every athlete develops within the same coaching system.

Regardless of membership level, everyone benefits from the same:

  • coaching philosophy

  • technical framework

  • principles of athletic development

  • approach to training load and recovery

Membership determines the level of guidance between Development Cycles—not the quality of coaching on snow.

How Progress Happens

A single Development Cycle provides direction.

Long-term progress comes from consistently applying what you learn.

This includes:

  • deliberate practice

  • appropriate training load

  • effective recovery

  • returning for additional Development Cycles when appropriate

Athletes who remain engaged between cycles typically retain technical changes more effectively and continue progressing from season to season.

In Practice

Step 1 - Apply for an Initial Development Cycle

All athletes begin here.

Your application helps us understand:

  • your skiing background

  • your goals

  • your training history

  • your preferred dates and availability

Applications are reviewed to ensure:

  • the program is an appropriate fit

  • readiness for consecutive training days

  • appropriate group placement

If accepted, you receive a single invoice covering:

  • your Initial Development Cycle

  • Foundation Membership

Step 2 — Prepare and Train

Before your Development Cycle, you'll receive guidance to help you arrive prepared.

During the cycle:

  • all athletes receive the same on-snow coaching

  • training is structured to:

    • prioritize key technical changes

    • manage fatigue

    • create the conditions necessary for effective learning

The objective is not to address everything at once, but to focus on the technical priorities that will have the greatest long-term impact.

Step 3 — Continue Your Development

At the conclusion of your Initial Development Cycle, you leave with:

  • clear technical priorities

  • direction for independent practice

  • an understanding of your next stage of development

From there, you continue within the club.

You may:

  • continue with Foundation Membership

  • upgrade to Alignment or Integration Membership

  • participate in additional Development Cycles when appropriate

Athletes who remain engaged between cycles generally:

  • retain changes more effectively

  • progress more consistently

  • build capacity over time

A Year-Round Process

Ski development extends beyond time on snow.

Throughout the year, members are encouraged to maintain the physical capacity needed to support technical improvement.

During the off-season, the emphasis shifts toward building strength, movement quality, and aerobic capacity.

During the ski season, the focus shifts toward applying those qualities on snow while maintaining fitness, managing training load, and supporting recovery.

This continuity allows each phase of development to build upon the last.

Key Points

  • Everyone begins with an Initial Development Cycle.

  • Foundation Membership is included.

  • Ongoing participation is flexible.

  • Development Cycles are application-based and capacity-limited.

  • Long-term progress depends on continued engagement, not simply time spent on snow.
