How It Works
Work Within a Structured Development System
You begin with an Initial Development Cycle.
From there, you continue within a year-round alpine ski coaching and development program.
Quick Overview
A Clear Starting Point
You begin with a single step: an Initial Development Cycle.
5–6 days of structured on-snow coaching
Delivered in Austria
Includes Foundation Membership
There is no long-term commitment required to start.
What You Commit To
At the outset, you are committing to:
one structured training block
a defined coaching process
the opportunity to evaluate how the system works for you
This allows you to experience the approach before deciding how to continue.
What Happens After the Cycle
After your Initial Development Cycle, you continue within the club.
You choose how to proceed:
remain at Foundation (periodic coach check-in)
upgrade to Alignment or Integration (if you need more support from coaches)
return for additional Development Cycles when appropriate
There is no re-application required.
What Stays Consistent
All athletes train within the same system regardless of membership-tier:
same coaching approach
same technical framework
same principles of load management and recovery
What changes is the level of support and frequency of coaching, not the method.
How Progress Happens
Progress does not come from a single cycle.
It comes from:
applying what you learned
managing training load and recovery
returning to structured coaching when needed
Athletes who stay engaged between cycles progress more consistently and retain changes more effectively.
In Practice
Step 1 - Apply for an Initial Development Cycle
All athletes begin here.
As part of your application, you will:
provide background information (experience, goals, training history)
indicate preferred dates and availability
Applications are reviewed to ensure:
readiness for consecutive training days
alignment with the program
appropriate group placement
If accepted:
you receive a single invoice covering:
the Development Cycle
Foundation Membership
Step 2 — Prepare and Train
Before the cycle:
you receive guidance to help you arrive prepared
During the cycle:
all athletes receive the same on-snow coaching
training is structured to:
prioritize key technical changes
manage fatigue
allow learning to occur
The objective is not to cover everything, but to focus on what matters most.
Step 3 — Continue Your Development
At the end of the cycle, you have:
clear technical priorities
direction for independent practice
an understanding of how to progress
From there, you continue within the club.
You may:
remain at Foundation
upgrade to Alignment or Integration
participate in additional Development Cycles when appropriate
Athletes who engage with the system between cycles:
retain changes more effectively
progress more consistently
build capacity over time
A Year-Round Process
This is a year-round alpine ski coaching and development program.
In the off-season, athletes build strength and capacity
During the ski season, the focus shifts to skill development while maintaining fitness
All members are guided in:
managing training load
supporting recovery
maintaining the capacity required to progress
This continuity allows each phase of training to build on the last.
Key Points
All athletes begin with an Initial Development Cycle
Foundation Membership is included
Ongoing participation is flexible
Development Cycles are capacity-limited and application-based
Progress depends on engagement between cycles, not just time on snow
